Scripture
Ephesians 4:9 — “He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth.”
Reflection

Before Christ lifted us up, He came down.
Jesus did not save humanity from a distance. He entered our broken world, experienced suffering, and bore our sin. His descent reminds us that God meets us where we are, not where we pretend to be.
When you feel low, forgotten, or overwhelmed, remember:
Christ has already been lower than your lowest moment.
