How it all started...
Our ministry team started in 2006, and at our humble beginnings, we rallied together and held our first outreach car wash in the community. God really blessed us with customers and we raised over $600. The purpose of our car washes is to provide spiritual tracts and bibles while availing ourselves to pray for them and to provide excellent customer service in washing their cars. We washed their cars on the outside and the Holy Ghost washed their souls on the inside.
Expanding the vision...
Then, in 2007, we began sending care packages to the few service members in our congregation. Since July 2013, our ministry team has been sending approximately 20 – 25 care packages a month. Each care package is packed with love, goodies and treats to put a smile on their faces. We appreciate the many organizations and individuals who have assisted us with grants, donations and helped us put them together. We have sent nearly 200 care packages to our troops in all service branches since July 2013
Where we are headed...
In late 2014, I accepted the call of God to Pastor, and we held our first church service on Feb 22, 2015, at the Skyline Recreation Center in San Diego, CA. God had truly blessed us as we established weekly services such as online Prayer, Bible Studies, & Worship Services. Several years later, God placed it on my heart to start a food bank ministry to serve the community, and we faithfully feed 200 – 400 people monthly started at the Meadowbrook Apartments, and now we distribute food from our church grounds.
