Devotion: Day 5
Day 5: Walking by Faith, Not by Sight
Reading: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18; 5:7
Devotional: The Christian walk is not a sprint of emotional highs but a steady journey of trust. We walk by faith, not by sight—this means our decisions, obedience, and endurance are governed by God's promises rather than present conditions. Paul reminds us that momentary afflictions produce eternal glory. What we see is temporary; what we cannot see is eternal. When your faith is tested, lean back into the arms of Jesus and rest on His eternal promises. Put on the full armor of God daily—the shield of faith extinguishes every fiery dart. Remember, faith is not the absence of fear but trusting God in spite of it.
Reflection Question: What would change in your life if you truly walked by faith rather than by what you can see?
