The purpose of fruit is never to draw attention to the branch.
Fruit points back to the vine.
Our lives should make people wonder,
"What kind of Savior produces a life like that?"
The fruit Jesus speaks of includes:
Christlike character
Answered prayer
Love for others
Obedience
New disciples
Good works that glorify God
The goal of the Christian life is not simply to get to heaven.
It is to glorify God while we are here.
