Devotional Thought: Day 4
This may be one of the most humbling verses in Scripture.
Jesus does not say,
"Without Me you can do a little."
He says,
"Nothing."
Apart from Christ, we can achieve success in the world's eyes, yet accomplish nothing of eternal value.
Busyness is not fruitfulness.
Popularity is not spiritual power.
Activity is not intimacy.
God measures fruit—not merely effort.
