Day 4: Seek God First
Reading: Matthew 6:25-33; Proverbs 3:5-6
Devotional: Before making decisions about career, relationships, relocation, or ministry, seek Christ first. We don't belong to ourselves—we belong to Jesus. Every choice should be filtered through prayer and alignment with God's will. Jonah's mistake wasn't just disobedience; it was trusting his own understanding above God's wisdom. God sees the bigger picture we cannot comprehend. He knows the end from the beginning. When we lean on our own understanding, we limit ourselves to human perspective. But when we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He directs our paths toward His perfect plan. Patience is required—God rarely rushes. He takes time to prepare both you and the circumstances. Trust His timing, seek His face, and wait for His clear direction.
