Devotion: Day 5

Day 5: Grace to Heal

Reading: Psalm 51:6-10

Devotional: "You desire truth in the innermost being," David writes. Bitterness thrives in secrecy; healing begins with honesty. You cannot uproot what you refuse to acknowledge. God invites you into the surgery room of the soul, where His Holy Spirit performs deep healing work—not superficial fixes, but complete restoration. Jeremiah warned against healing wounds "superficially, saying 'peace, peace,' but there is no peace." Some wounds require truth, grace, and the Spirit's work. Today is your day for freedom. Bring God the hidden places, the wounds, the memories, the betrayals. Ask Him to uproot every root of bitterness and plant grace, peace, love, and healing instead. The cross is too precious, your calling too great, your future too important to live poisoned by bitterness. Surrender what you cannot carry any longer. It's time to be free.
