Path to Deliverance: Day 2
The Path to Deliverance (From the Sermon)
Step 1: Acknowledge
Confess what you've been hiding
"You cannot uproot what you refuse to acknowledge"
Write down what you need to acknowledge before God
Step 2: Forgive
Forgiveness is a decision, not an emotion
Release them to God (Romans 12:19)
Pray this: "Lord, I release [name] to you. I cancel the debt."
Step 3: Pray for Them
When you pray for someone, you cannot remain bitter toward them
The love of God saturates your innermost being during prayer
Step 4: Replace Thoughts with Scripture
Bitterness leaves when Scripture becomes seed
Choose a scripture to memorize this week (suggestions below)
