Devotion: Day 5

Day 5: Finishing Strong Despite Weariness

Reading: Galatians 6:9; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Devotional: "Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." Paul understood ministry fatigue. This isn't denial of weariness—it's a promise of harvest. We're troubled on every side, yet not distressed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. Elijah's journey embodies this resilience: under pressure but persevering, down but not defeated. Discouragement is real, but defeat is not inevitable. God sustains His servants through every trial. Stay dependent on Him in your strongest moments and your lowest valleys. Old things have passed away; all things become new in Christ. Your transformation isn't self-generated—it's God-given. As you continue to evolve and grow in Him, remember: restoration precedes recommissioning. God heals you, then sends you. Keep walking. Your breakthrough is coming.

Reflection: What "well-doing" are you tempted to abandon? Write down one step of obedience you'll take this week despite weariness.
