Devotion: Day 4

Day 4: Overcoming Through Divine Presence

Reading: Hebrews 13:5; Psalm 139:7-10

Devotional: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." These aren't empty words—they're God's eternal promise. Elijah believed he was utterly alone, but God's presence never left him, even in the cave. David declared, "Where can I go from Your Spirit?" Whether you're on the mountaintop or hiding in the valley, God is already there. Your broom tree moment, your cave of despair—God meets you there. Fear doesn't disqualify you; emotional collapse isn't the end of your story. It's the setting for divine intervention. When you feel forgotten or unseen, remember: God understands human panic. He doesn't demand more effort; He offers His presence. You're never truly isolated in your struggles. Christ's invitation echoes through the ages: "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

Reflection: Where do you feel most alone right now? Invite God's presence into that specific place today.
