Analogy — The Ladder

Imagine climbing a ladder twenty feet into the air. The higher you climb, the more important your balance becomes.

Nobody worries much about falling from the first step.

But elevation increases both visibility and responsibility.

In the same way, whenever God elevates us, we need greater humility, not greater pride.

The higher God allows you to go, the more important it becomes to remember Who gave you the ladder.
