Building God's Kingdom, Not My Own

Matthew 16:18
"I will build My church."
Devotional
One of the greatest temptations in ministry is to build our own reputation rather than God's Kingdom. Jesus never called us to make our names famous; He called us to make His name known.
Selfish ambition asks, "How can this benefit me?" Kingdom-minded service asks, "How can this glorify Christ?"
Jesus demonstrated true leadership by washing His disciples' feet. The King of kings chose a towel instead of a throne.
