Devotional Thought
The straw house represents convenience.
Convenience is not always sinful.
But convenience becomes dangerous when it replaces commitment.
Our culture encourages shortcuts.
Quick diets.
Quick wealth.
Quick fame.
Quick spirituality.
Yet God rarely works quickly because He values transformation more than information.
Jesus spent thirty years preparing for three years of ministry.
David was anointed king long before he became king.
Moses spent forty years in the wilderness before leading Israel.
Preparation is never wasted.
