Devotional Thought
Every day you are building something.
You may not be building a physical house, but you are building:
Your character
Your marriage
Your family
Your ministry
Your career
Your relationship with God
Construction doesn't happen overnight.
Neither does spiritual maturity.
The first pig chose straw because it was quick.
The second pig chose sticks because they looked stronger.
The third pig chose bricks because he understood something the others ignored:
What you build today determines whether you stand tomorrow.
Many people spend more time planning vacations than planning spiritual growth.
God isn't asking us to build quickly.
He is asking us to build wisely.
