DAY 3: Self-Sufficiency vs. God-Dependency

Devotional Thought
The church of Laodicea believed they had no need of anything.
That attitude is dangerous because it leaves little room for God.
Many believers would never verbally say, "I don't need God," yet their prayer life communicates that message.
Prayer is a declaration of dependence.
When we stop praying, we often begin trusting:
Our experience
Our resources
Our intelligence
Our plans
God desires daily dependence, not occasional consultation.
