Devotional Thought
Many people hear sermons, read Scripture, and attend church regularly, yet never experience transformation. Jesus was not speaking about physical hearing but spiritual hearing.
A person can sit through a powerful worship service and remain unchanged. Another person may hear a single verse and have their life completely transformed.
The difference is not in the message—it is in the condition of the heart.
God is still speaking today through His Word, His Spirit, circumstances, and godly counsel. The question is not whether God is speaking. The question is whether we are listening.
