Day 1: The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

Reading: Psalm 27:1-5

Devotional: David wrote these words in the middle of real threats, real enemies, and real fear. Yet his confidence was not in his own strength but in the Lord who lights his path and guards his life. Psalm 27:1 reminds us that when God is our light, fear loses its grip. When trouble surrounds you, the pavilion of God becomes your hiding place. The question is not whether trouble will come. It will. The question is where you will stand when it arrives. Stand in the presence of the One who has already overcome it.

Personal Reflection: What fear are you carrying today that you have not yet surrendered to God?

Practical Application: Write down one specific fear. Pray over it and consciously place it in God's hands before the day ends.
