Daily Prayer: Day 1

Father, thank You for understanding every need and desire within me. Give me wisdom to distinguish between legitimate needs and destructive appetites. When my flesh demands immediate satisfaction, give me the discipline to wait. When temptation offers me a shortcut, remind me of my assignment. Teach me to live by Your Word rather than by my cravings. I surrender my desires to You today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
