Devotional Thought:
The greatest deception is not being lied to by others—it is lying to yourself. Paul teaches believers to think “soberly,” meaning clearly and truthfully. Pride distorts our spiritual mirror. Sometimes we see ourselves greater than we are; other times we see ourselves smaller than God intended.
God wants us to see ourselves through His truth—not ego, insecurity, or comparison.
