Devotions: Day 3
Reading: Matthew 5:5; Numbers 12:3; James 4:6-10
Devotional: "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." Meekness isn't weakness—it's strength under control. It's choosing humility over pride, gentleness over aggression, and surrender over self-assertion. For many of us, meekness doesn't flow naturally. Our personalities, backgrounds, or life experiences may have trained us toward self-protection and assertiveness. But God invites us into the transformative journey of meekness. This is about allowing God to teach us, correct us, and shape us—even when it's uncomfortable. When God chastises us this side of heaven, it's an act of love, preparing us for eternity. Meekness means submitting to His correction with gratitude, knowing He's refining us for His glory and our good.
