Devotion: Day 2
Day 2: The Authority of Your Words
Reading: Mark 11:20-24; Proverbs 18:21
Devotional: Jesus cursed the fig tree, and it withered from the roots up—demonstrating the creative and destructive power of spoken words. You have been given authority to curse things that do not belong in your life: sickness, lack, fear, and bondage. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Just as Jesus spoke to the fig tree, you can speak to mountains in your life. Your words are not empty; they carry the authority of the Kingdom when spoken in faith. Stop speaking defeat and start declaring victory. Curse what God has not ordained and bless what aligns with His will.
Reflection: What negative circumstances do you need to curse out of your life with authoritative words of faith?
Application: Identify three areas of struggle and verbally curse them out of your life today, replacing them with declarations of God's promises.
