Questions: Day 1

Section 1: The God Who Sees (15-20 minutes)

1. Read Exodus 3:7-8 together. God says three things: "I have seen," "I have heard," "I have come down." Which of these three statements speaks most powerfully to you right now, and why?

2. The sermon explained that the Hebrew word ra'ah (seen) means "to observe with attention and care," not just a casual glance. How does it change your perspective on prayer to know that God doesn't just notice your struggles but studies them with divine concern?

3. The sermon mentioned that oppression can reshape our expectations—that living in bondage long enough can make us "normalize chains." What are some "invisible Egypts" people carry today? Have you ever found yourself accepting a painful situation as permanent when God wanted to deliver you from it?

4. Psalm 34:17 says "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them." Is there something you've stopped crying out to God about because you've lost hope He will answer? How might this sermon encourage you to pray again?
