Devotion: Day 5
Day 5: Running Into His Arms
Reading: Luke 15:11-24
Devotional: The prodigal son's story mirrors our own journey. We run—from pain, from people, from problems. Sometimes we run from God Himself. But unlike earthly relationships, God's response to our return is pure celebration. The father in Jesus' parable didn't wait at the door; he ran to embrace his wayward son. God doesn't require us to clean up first, achieve more, or prove ourselves worthy. He simply says, "Run into my arms." Whether you're running from abuse, addiction, or simply the weariness of life, stop running away and start running toward. The race isn't about speed but direction. God's arms are stretched wide, ready to catch you when you cross the finish line.
Will you run to Him today?
