Devotion: Day Three
Day 3: Spiritual Warfare Through Prayer Reading: Ephesians 6:10-20
Devotional: Paul reminds us that our true battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. Prayer is our most powerful weapon in this warfare. As you read about the armor of God, visualize yourself putting on each piece through prayer. Ask God to strengthen your faith (shield), deepen your assurance of salvation (helmet), fill you with His righteousness (breastplate), give you peace (shoes), arm you with His truth (belt), and equip you with His Word (sword). Then, "pray in the Spirit on all occasions." Today, be alert to spiritual battles around you - temptations, discouragements, conflicts. Meet each one with strategic prayer, calling on God's power and protection.
