Devotion: Day 5

Day 5: The Altar of Exchange

Reading: Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:17

Devotional: The altar is open. It might be your kitchen table, your bedroom, or your closet—but the altar is open, and the Healer is here. Laying things on an altar isn't a place of shame; it's a place of exchange. Bring Him your anger—He'll give you peace. Bring Him your jealousy—He'll give you joy. Bring Him your resentment—He'll give you release. Bring Him your fear—He'll give you courage. God doesn't simply forgive emotions; He heals them, sanctifies them, and breathes new life into them. Stop hearing words and take a minute to search yourself. Ask God: "What emotion is rooted in my heart that's not like You?" Name it. Submit it. Exchange it. You are a Christian in this world—the salt of the earth. You're supposed to look like Him, sound like Him, and move like Him.

Reflection Question: What do I need to exchange at God's altar today to become more like Christ?
