Devotion: Day 3
Day 3: The Touch That Changed Everything
Reading: Luke 8:43-48
Devotional: Twelve years. Twelve years of bleeding, isolation, and shame. We barely made it through two years of COVID with our sanity intact. Imagine twelve years in personal prison, pushed to society's margins. The woman with the issue of blood was wounded, weary, and silenced by shame. But she pushed through the crowd with perseverance and touched the hem of Jesus' garment—the smallest touch with the greatest faith. Jesus called her "daughter," replacing her shame with identity, her sickness with wholeness, her isolation with embrace. God took her hidden suffering and turned it into public restoration. Whatever you're bleeding from—emotionally, spiritually, relationally—reach out with your smallest touch. Jesus is still healing daughters and sons today. You are a child of the Most High.
Reflection Question: What area of hidden suffering do I need to bring to Jesus for healing?
